"Blown round by the wind, thrown down in a spin..."

Just checking in, really.
I've got nothing new to report.
At the risk of sounding melodramatic, my life continues on its downward spiral.
We're going to two open houses today.
Next week is the last week of football.
Oh, and my daughter stole my MAC card and sucked our checking and savings account dry. We filed a report with the police and are waiting for them to conclude their "investigation".

it's hard to watch someone you love self-destruct especially if they try to take you with them. if she's lucky, someday she'll look back and feel bad for what she's done.

there are members of my family whom i don't speak to or even acknowledge, even face-to-face, because of things like this. i had to get to the point where i just couldn't let them drag me down or impact my life.

now when i look at my daughter, i know i'm making the right choice. i have to protect her, and since these people have shown me that they don't care about us, i can't take the risk of their actions impacting her in a negative way.

i hope you find a way to care for and protect your grandson and your other children. it might be time to petition for custody since she's in a downward spiral and the guy doesn't seem too stable either.

i've been wondering, since she's family and lives with you, will they take it seriously? also, is the stolen money replaced by insurance or something? or will you have to sue your daughter to pay it back? my relations only stole items and never cash from me (thank god). if you have to wait for her to pay it back, it'll probably never happen and you'll have to somehow come up with money to make the bills you have right now if there isn't some type of insurance for this.

So sorry, Schell. Addiction turns people into strangers.
