Earlier tonight I made rice to go with dinner and it came out bad -- I'm struggling with rice at high altitudes, at sea level I'm rice queen -- and I said, out loud, "My rice sucks." and H came into the kitchen (where I was) and said, "Your life does not suck!" and I was like, "Huh?" and then figured it out.
I wish you lived here so we could go out for coffee. Hope things turn around soon.
