My book group picked "Twilight" for this month's selection. I was a bit disappointed. I didn't want to read the teen vampire book.
I borrowed a copy and started it yesterday. I finished it yesterday. It was addicting. I want to meet an Edward. He's smart, funny, handsome and he can't have sex!
thats very similar to my soon to be ex husband apart from the smart funny handsome bit
ReplyDeleteTwilight's ok, but I much preferred Jacob to Edward--like my sister-in-law says "I don't want my vampires to sparkle." I also think it's heavy-handed..oh and not to spoil it for you, Schell, but later on Edward proves he indeed can have sex.

ReplyDeleteIs this vamp stuff any better then the Rice vamp stuff. just for the record my absolute favorite Rice vamp was Le stat ( I think that was the name) . I read about 4 of her vamp books starting with interview and then really got burnt out on the entire vamp topic. allan
